Sphere Standards - The Humanitarian Charter

Sphere produced a series of posters and matching postcards illustrating the core principles embedded in the Humanitarian Charter through the use of cartoons. The cartoons explain a complex issue through a simple visual image, helping people retain the information more easily. The cartoons help disseminate information and raise awareness on the Humanitarian Charter and on the basic rights of affected populations.

To produce the illustrations, Sphere partnered with artists from the Cartoon Movement and with the Centre for Education and Research in Humanitarian Action (CERAH).
